Perch at the top of Jamaica Music Countdown (JMC) Top 25 Reggae Singles chart now 2 weeks in a row, “TASTE VICTORY” by Nesbeth has not only been sending tremors across the Jamaican music landscape but is currently showing signs similarly across the United Kingdom as it reign on top of SFDC Radio Weekly Reggae chart ahead of trending tracks, Rock Stone by Steven Marley, Clean Like a Whistle by Chronixx, Steppin Razor by Christopher Martin, No Stylin by Protoge, Stay With Me by Romain Virgo, Richest Girl by Etana and African Princess by Tenza.
This is certainly not a first for Nesbeth who has had singles like Boardhouse and Guns Out soared across those regions, seeping into Europe around 2008. But having ‘Taste Victory’ off the ‘Victory EP’ seemingly walking a similar path and more effectively, signs like this are all too important to miss. Of course, one can appreciate how the artiste must have felt back then, a missed opportunity to greatness.
But what is to be must be! The prospects for ‘Taste Victory‘ and Nesbeth’s career in general is global. As concluded by some reviews, ‘Taste Victory‘ is somewhat autobiographical, and employs a slight edge of rock music again, or moreso the fact that, Nesbeth turns hardship into optimistic Reggae Vibes are insights that suggest songs such as ‘Taste Victory’ is timeless and has become a motivational message of hope. Nesbeth will embark on his first tour across Europe called ‘Victory’ July/August 2015.
