Bitta ‘so sicka’ new track on the Club Banger rhythm produced by Tremor House has picked up pace and gave the artiste his first taste of popular radio. The song entitle “Thank God Its Friday (TGIF)” got a few spins during ZJ Bambino’s morning segment on ZIP 103FM last Friday. As the name suggest, Club Banger is a party rhythm that creates a fun party vibes and Bitta’s ‘Thank God Its Friday’ track sets the tone and mood for the total after work Jam.
Nesbeth continues to ‘Drive by’ but not before settling on a number of local charts. The single shows no sign of retreat as it continues to find its way on several radio djs playlists across the island. Drive By video caught the eyes of Panama Reggae and is a main feature on the website for the past week. Nesbeth and his team have been promoting the single in the streets to enhance its’ popularity. Recently is the special guest on Teen Scene aired Saturdays on CVM TV this weekend.
I-Octane Mama You Alone single has hit NUMBER 1 on yet another local chart this week. Stampede Street Chart is out and Mama You Alone nabs the top spot in the top 10 Reggae singles category soaring above Cherine Anderson’s Talk If You Talking and Richie Spice Street Life singles. The single still holds down the top spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown chart for the second week and debuts KDVS 90.3FM, Caribbean/African Music Top 25 singles charts at the University of California. New Image Promotions releases a weekly chart update each Monday and will have more chart news in the next issue. I-Octane leaves the Island this Friday for the Bahamas where he will perform on “Millenium Count Down”. This event will also feature performances by Queen Ifrika, Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel.
Sophia Brown is back on the island after her 2 weeks trip to LA to shoot the video for her new single Gimmi That Good Love that reportedly went well. Sophii Brown is among a selected few to perform on the prestigious Rock You part second concert to be held on Sunday November 22 at the Temple Hall Estate in St. Andrew. Rock You part second will feature performances by Gibby ‘DubMental’, Della Manley, David M, Nambo Robinson and special Guests.
