The possibility of a retrial in the latest development regarding Juror misconduct in Buju Banton’s case seem more than likely as it is now being reported that Juror Teri Wright had submitted the wrong computer hard drive for examination by forensic expert hired by Buju.
According to reports, Teri Wright had told the court in earlier sittings that she had used a laptop but the experts have found that the hard drive she submitted belongs to that of a desktop computer.
Attorney Chokwe Lumumba representing Buju Banton to told radio station Irie FM, that a ruling has not been made and they now await the judges decision.
Buju Banton was convicted of drug trafficking charges in 2011 and is serving a 10 year prison sentence in a Florida prison.
