Incarcerated for several months now, speculations as to whether or not former Gaza boss Vybz Kartel will be released from prison have mounted to an all time high. While some loyal fans patiently await his return to the Dancehall scene, some have turn their attention to Kartel’s proteges and are more appreciative and receptive to their music, hoping they maintain if/not build and surpass, the momentum the ‘Worl Boss” created. One such is Doza Medicine who claim, “Kartel the ‘Teacha’ say me a di ‘Top Student’ cause me lyrics and metaphors nuh normal.” Good with both Popcaan and Tammy Lee, Doza heightens his chances of ‘getting a piece of the pudding’ by way of implementing a promotional campaign to generate awareness.
