American rapper Common will grace the stage of Reggae Sumfest as headliner on International Night One, Friday July 17. The announcements came ahead of the highly anticipated event which is scheduled to run from July 16 – 18 at Catherine hall, Montego Bay. Common is the first artiste announced for the event.
Common won the 2015 Golden Globe and Academy Awards for Best Original Song, for his song “Glory” from the 2014 film Selma, in which he co-starred as 1960s Civil Rights Movement leader James Bevel.
